Hey - and welcome!​

 

I'm Caroline, a native Californian living in Austin (by way of Houston). After 14 years in the Lone Star State, I can say one thing with confidence: you never get used to the heat. ​​

My undergraduate degree is in geophysics, which landed me in oil and gas services, though these days I do less geophysics and more business development and market analysis.

 

On the side, I am a certified emotional intelligence and mindfulness teacher and facilitator. And I write a substack about everyday volunteerism, advocacy, and philanthropy.

 

I believe deeply and passionately in the power of community and the importance of building and fostering connection in every space I find myself.

 

I try to live by a simple mantra: You choose who you are every day. ​
